In July this year we had a week or so of amazingly colourful skies, just like this - I was so inspired by, not only the colour in the
sky but the shape of the clouds. This painting includes some helebores and some constrasting (in shape and colour) budding
gladioli - creating some beautiful ‘underplanting’ in the painting and enhancing the colours in the sky.
